Welcome to the Briar House website
Briar House Resources was incorporated as a Community Interest Company in Sept 2006 and started trading in May 2007, in order to provide a community based activity centre for use by local community groups, and local small businesses.
We welcome groups and organisations who offer academic and practical courses to train local community groups, local people and local small businesses on healthy living, healthy work places and healthy communities.
We also offer companies the use of our lovely light room to host corporate hospitality events/facilities. We are very close to York train station, and local bed and breakfasts for overnight stays for weekend courses.
There is an excellent bus service to the area, as well as parking nearby for disabled drivers, and ample local bike parking. We have a removable ramp for access to the building, and the ground floor doors are wide but require upgrading with push buttons and the toilet accessibilty is being upgraded soon.
